What does your city mean to you?

Haarlem is 4th city I lived in in past 4 years and I’m still pretty fresh there. This small city has lots of history, it is really close to Amsterdam, but far away from all the noise and crowds. I love the fact it’s close to the North sea on one side, dunes and lakes on the other so you have lots of options to relax and enjoy. Jopen and Het Uiltje are among my favourite beers, and they’re both based in Haarlem. Cycling is my big passion and routes around Haarlem are many and diverse.

Name one city you would like to live in – and why?

Los Angeles. Huge. Weird. Culture.
