Banyeres de Mariola, Spain

What does your city mean to you?

I come from Banyeres de Mariola, which is a small settlement and not really a city in the north of Spain. It is a very beautiful place to be – there are forests and national parks nearby – which I like to spend a lot of time in. I just love the forests and I have many childhood memories from there. It is also surrounded by mountains which makes it very beautiful place to live in.

Name one city you would like to live in – and why?

I would like to go back and live in Banyeres de Mariola, but now there are problems in Spain. The economy is not doing too good, and the politics is not much to boost about either. My place is also very small with a population of less than 10000 people, so there are not many job opportunities there. I work in Amsterdam now, and I like it.
