Can you share your most memorable experience from your city?

It was the day 9/11 happened. I was roaming around Brussels and I could feel something not quite right. People were whispering things and their faces gave a look I have not seen before. Those were the days before mobile internet so information didn’t travel that fast, but I could feel that something was off and people were a bit panicky. Then I went to a bar, the ones they show football matches in, and saw it on TV. I saw one of the the towers collapse in front of my eyes. It was something I can never forget.
